These Things Never Change

Description

It seems like everything is changing! Life is change, and change can be scary. When we are faced with situations that change on a daily, sometimes hourly basis, it can be overwhelming. People are searching for something to hold on to — something that never changes.

Fortunately, there are some things that never change.

God never changes.  The Bible tells us that God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

God’s Word never changes.  Since God doesn’t change, it makes sense that what he has said does not change.

The Gospel – or the Good News – doesn’t change.  The way to become right with God through Jesus Christ never changes.

Why is this important?  Because people matter to God.  You matter to God.  All people matter, not just those who are rich, healthy, beautiful, etc.  In fact, Jesus went to great lengths to explain that lost people (people who are far from God) matter to him.

No matter who you are or what you’ve done, God loves you.  He wants you to come to him for forgiveness.  If you already know God, he wants you to share the good news with others.

When the world is changing rapidly, hold on to the these things that never change.  If you build your life on God and his Word, what you build will last.
