Description
In 1789, President George Washington issued a proclamation declaring a day of Thanksgiving to God for his blessings.
Why is gratitude so rare today? This, however, is not a new problem. Even in the Gospels, we see ingratitude. In Luke 17, Jesus healed 10 men who had leprosy, but only one returned to say thanks.
In Luke 7, Jesus went to a Pharisee’s house for a meal. While he was there a woman entered and showed her great love for Jesus. Since Simon the Pharisee was being critical in his heart, Jesus told him a story showing that those who are forgiven more, love more.
