Our society is in turmoil. Surveys have shown recently that about one half of our population is worried about the virus, the economy, and other issues related to our current situation.
There have been suggestions from many people that, if we do not get back to work soon, we will lose more people from suicide, drug usage, domestic violence, mental health issues, starvation, homelessness, and a host of other disastrous situations.
These indeed are very serious concerns, and we do not want to minimize them in any way. We need God’s guidance so we are able to deal with the stresses of life. We need encouragement from the Lord so that we can glorify His name even in the midst of trials.
People want to have hope. Our hope is in the Lord.
Today we are going to look into Philippians 4:4-9 and see six directives for a meaningful life in the midst of a crisis situation.
