Serving One Another in a Crisis Situation

God calls his people to be like Jesus. This includes serving others. Many people are in need during this time. Some need encouragement or company, others need more tangible things like food, clothing, etc. God calls those who know Jesus to serve.

In his letter to the Galatians, the apostle Paul writes about bearing each other’s burdens. Essentially, this means helping people with things that are too much for them.  These things may be anything from struggles, to troubles, to sharing the Gospel, or even sin problems.  Helping carry other people’s burdens starts with a proper self-estimation, then testing one’s own works and finally accepting personal responsibility.

It is the duty of every Christian to serve others just like Jesus did.
